.. Via Moldy Chum comes news of another Bush Gift to the nation: a decision to allow up to 18,000 natural gas wells to be drilled in the Powder River Basin.
.. This has caused less sane people to consider migrating to this modern-day "gold rush." We're hoping they end up on the Wyoming side of the basin where water is being depleted and contaminated.
.. The Casper Star Tribune warns would be tycoons that there are pitfalls in this business just like in 1849. On the other hand, the Powder River Basin Resource Council lets us know that the "BOOM" is on.
