.. The day was long. It's still early for large numbers of runners from Hebgen Lake. The neighbors haven't migrated to the Madison River in any great numbers yet. Still, a fish was caught and another missed. Success for this time of the month.

.. Exhaustion is too brutal of a word. Tuckered out might fit. Pretty damn tired for sure. Maybe a cold one and a pizza to go. Maybe a perfect Angus burger with a couple of cold ones. Maybe a full course dinner with some wine to guarantee a good nights sleep. Whatever your pleasure the SLIPPERY OTTER PUB is a good bet to satisfy.
.. As visiting fishers crowd our village for the fall fishing frenzy it's a good bet that they will end up in only a couple of pubs. Fisher folks are particular about where they gather for a meal, (well - not all are - true!)
.. Should you like your beer this pub has 27 beers on tap. They also have all the popular domestic beers in glass bottles. They will allow you to sip a taste before you buy the tap beer. They will serve you a sampler of your choice or design one just for your specified taste.
.. The pizza is one of our favorite orders, (peperoni & mushroom,) along with the perfect burgers and a couple of newly discovered beers. You truly can taste the difference that "FRESH" ingredients make.
.. So as you visit the little drinking village with a fishing problem you might scope out the Slippery Otter Pub. Unless, of course, you'd rather have fast food, heartburn, and terrible nightmares.
