.. It's amazing what just a little bit of information will do to a road trip. We received secret bulletins that the Chetco River has turned on in spectacular fashion. The rains came! The waters rose! The big fish are sniffing their way home!
.. Of course we abandoned the plan to visit elbowland. There's a couple of places down low on the Chetco where we know we can catch a seal, (did it last year about this time.) Maybe even a Chinook. Reports of 55-pounders are sailing across the land on the drums.

.. We're already enjoying the wild nightlife in deep eastern Oregon.
.. Thought we'd tie a few of Jay's Nicholas' Shrimp to go with our classic Durham Rangers and General Practitioners.
