JUST A BIT OF SNOW
.. This is just the start of the predicted La Niña winter. It bodes well for the snow pack, which has been on the sparse side for the last few years.
.. Town will be jubilant as soon as the plowing and digging is finished.
.. The creative parking is about to start. The upcoming cold spell will hasten both anchor ice and surface ice on the reservoir. Auger sharpening will start soon and the ice skate sharpening is already well under way.
.. Pockets and fanny  packs full of various waxes are trundling their way to the cross country trails. The real animals are already out there before the trail groomers get to the deep drifts.
.. We're pleased for everyone and are going to smile as the snow plow and blower goes by our front porch.
