BUGS & SNOW & SUN & DRY ROADS & EAGER FISH -- AH, PARADISE

-------
.. We took a break from dragging the submarines to dry dock and visited with some resident fish. As the giants enter the South Fork system they displace the resident fish. The poor put-upon "Homies," seek secondary and tertiary hides. We know where they are.
.. Happily for both us and the fish the midges have been cooperative. The weather too! The paved roads are clear and dry. We get there quick. Smash some bugs on the way. Satisfy our wanton urges to torture the poor little critters, and get back before the cows come home.
.. Tis the season for rejoicing: soft days, bright days, midges, elbow room, grizzle bears on gut piles steaming in the woods. What more could one ask?
.. We're going back for more!
