.. The weather guys, after a stuttering start, got it right. This weekend has been just about perfect for visitors and fishers alike. Temperatures have held in the 60's and low 70's... Early morning fishing on the Firehole River has been grand, (get off the water by 11:00.) Midday fishing on the Little Firehole River and Iron Spring Creek is possible. Walk up the trail on Nez Perce Creek for more action.
.. The Madison River has some prolific caddis hatches right now - evening is best. The usual suspects will suffice for flies: PMD, Caddis, Woolly Bugger, Prince Nymph, Bead Head Caddis.
