.. We're headed to the park. It opened this morning.
.. Unless you're in the neighborhood it's hardly worth the trip.
There are not many visitors, there's snow everywhere, animals are docile and plentiful, photo ops abound, and a leisurely pace dominates the visit... We advise that you wait for about 10 weeks. Then you can enjoy the crowds, the rush to "see it all," fewer animals, more construction, and numerous gawker blocks: everything that Yellowstone is famous for.
