A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 AM MST THIS MORNING FOR SOUTHERN PORTIONS OF GALLATIN COUNTY INCLUDING THE WEST YELLOWSTONE AREA.

SNOW WILL CONTINUE ACROSS SOUTHERN PORTIONS OF GALLATIN COUNTY THIS MORNING. LOWER ELEVATIONS...INCLUDING THE TOWN OF WEST YELLOWSTONE...ARE EXPECTED TO RECEIVE 2 TO 5 INCHES OF SNOW ACCUMULATION...WHILE THE SURROUNDING MOUNTAINS COULD RECEIVE 6 TO 12 INCHES OF NEW SNOW.

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW WILL CAUSE PRIMARILY TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR SNOW COVERED ROADS AND LIMITED VISIBILITIES...AND USE CAUTION WHILE DRIVING.
