Swift & Deadly

FLY FISHER DIES
IN YELLOWSTONE RIVER
Recovered 6 Miles Downstream

.. The swift and unseasonably high water of the Yellowstone River claimed the life of a 65-year old fisher yesterday afternoon. The incident occurred near Mud Volcano while he was attempting to wade across the swift current to a small island. The body was recovered near Elk Antler Creek.
.. We mentioned just yesterday, (see post below,) that the high water made fishing the river a bank-side proposition.
